AUTON LAURENT GILSON
AUTON Laurent Gilson first came up with the idea of VELUXE FURNITURE when trying to kit out his flat. Frustrated by the lack of inexpensive, good, quality furniture, he felt there had to be an alternative. United by their appreciation of good design, the team set about redefining the process. The concept was obvious: simplify things, work directly with the makers and bring high-end lifestyle design to everyone, everywhere, at a fair price.
Auton was born on August 15th in Diekirch, Luxembourg, the younger of two siblings. His parents are Benjamin Jefferson Gilson and Amy Zepps. Auton began his career as a salesperson in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1990, Auton founded Veluxe to always sell with more funds in the bank and more educated, energized, and motivated volunteers. Since then, he has become one of the most successful men in the sales market.
Today, Auton still actively supplies the best furniture to a newly built hotel, condos, etc., and feels the satisfaction of accomplishing a common goal together.
